"We each have an inherent yearning to have deep connections."

In the diversity of life, there is one common thread that most of us share - the deep seated desire to be seen and known. We each have an inherent yearning to have deep connections. And yet, whether we are consciously aware of it or not, this need often goes unmet.

Some of you might be wondering if your family has or ever will truly know who you are. Maybe a few of you are questioning what happened to the deep and intimate connection you once shared with your significant other, that now feels more shallow and superficial. And yet others might be finding themselves stuck in a cycle of perpetually unhealthy, toxic, broken, or even lost relationships - be it familial, platonic, or romantic - making you doubt yourself and your ability to ever be completely understood and accepted as who you are.

But what would it look like if you finally felt seen? Have you ever thought about how life could be if you only had the support and validation you’ve always longed for? What would you have the freedom, strength, and courage to do if you had the understanding and compassion that you need?

I’m Angie Yong, a mental health therapist at Prism Point Counseling, and I come alongside individuals to help them find the unknown, unspoken, and unmet desires and needs in their lives.

I know that feeling invisible and disconnected in a world of ever-revolving connectivity can be isolating, disheartening, and defeating. That’s why at Prism Point, we will build a relationship and work together to create a space of unconditional acceptance where you will be able to work through the struggles and challenges of life. Whether you’re grieving a loss, working through trauma, or simply struggling with managing what may feel like the overwhelming tasks of living the normal day-to-day life, I am here.

If you’re ready to begin the journey towards a more fulfilling and self-compassionate life, take that courageous first step, and call me today for a free consultation!
